On the 30th May 2015 a team from Genuine Solutions took part in the London BUPA 10km run to raise funds for Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity who help support families with a seriously ill child.
With over 13,000 participants running through the heart of the capital, the BUPA London 10,000 is now established as one of London’s premier running events. Not only does the course pass through historic London landmarks – starting in Green Park and finishing close to Buckingham Palace – but it is also based on the 10k loop the Olympic Marathon runners ran in the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The run was a fantastic experience for all involved; the incredible atmosphere along with an army of supporters helped everyone push through the pain barriers to complete the course. During the event, runners were able to enjoy some of London’s iconic scenery, which included Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, St. Paul’s Cathedral and Nelson’s Column.
Christian McBride, CEO of Genuine Solutions Group said, “This is the second year taking part in the BUPA 10km, once again it was an amazing experience; it’s such a pleasure running this event on behalf of such a worthy cause, it fills you with a real sense of achievement.”
“I also want to mention the support from the crowd; it was truly immense and gives you that extra gear which drives you on to the finish line. Bring on next year and an even bigger crowd of Genuine Solutions supporters.”

The event proved to be a huge success with much needed donations being made to Rainbow Trust. These donations will help with the continued support Rainbow Trust show to thousands of families’ with a child with life threatening illness.
