Head of Sales

Joe Day’s journey began with Genuine Solutions back in 2012 of which he had a desire to start his career within Sales, joining Genuine Solutions as a Sales Support Administrator whilst getting a feel for what would be the start of his first real career. Having been regularly reminded of his confidence and outgoing lifestyle this was the direction Joe chose to take at the age of 18 after going to golf college.

With Joe’s competitive nature, Joe had the vision and motivation to be one of the top achievers on the sales floor whilst developing new regions within the EU to open up new opportunities and regions to later onboard native speakers to further develop. Follow the success of these personal goals set, Joe was then appointed as a Sales Team Leader heading up a team to work and develop 5 Regions within the EU and UK&I. Later down the line after regions developed and the Sales team grew, there was an opportunity to expand Genuine Solutions portfolio and footprint with the USA of which Joe solely took off and headed up this project located in Manhattan, New York. Joe was realisable for developing existing relationships, onboarding both new customers and Suppliers with a carefully thought through state regional plan and enhancing our profile over in the USA.

Following Joe’s return to the UK, he was then appointed as the Head of Sales, heading up the entire team of which he currently does today. Joe has 3 Sales Team Leaders in place who look after different regions to maintain direction.

Joe would describe himself as self-motivated, passionate about putting his skills such as leadership, business development and negotiation to good practice. He enjoys meeting new people and constantly striving to enhance his experience from those in all areas of life that can offer new advice and expertise. Joe works collaboratively very well and is excited to strategically execute a plan for future growth and agreed goals.

Joe is a sociable character often referred to as outgoing and fun. He enjoys socialising, watching and participating in sport, especially Football & Golf, Joe plays off a Handicap of 5. He likes to goal set and work on his personal development in ways which can support such as reading books and learning. Joe has learnt to be grateful for the smaller things life has to offer in his latest years.
