Genuine Solutions is paying forward the goodwill after a successful 2017
Genuine Solutions, award-winning technology recycling and distribution provider, responded to the urgent cry for help today from Surrey community workers concerned about the plight of vulnerable homeless people this winter. The company, which prides itself on responsible operations, stepped in to provide thermal clothing and robust camping equipment in the hope that it would provide much needed shelter and protection against the harsh elements.
Also benefiting from the company’s support this week, was Refuge, the charity set up to provide support for women and children against domestic abuse. When asked what would make emergency housing more pleasant for its clients, the charity listed a games console and Genuine Solutions granted that wish! Every Christmas Genuine Solutions selects community projects to offer seasonal goodwill to and following a successful year for the company, they have exceeded their previous donations.
“Genuine Solutions has rallied to a cry from help from the courageous and dedicated community workers and it makes me proud to be part of Genuine.”
2017 has indeed been a rollercoaster of a year – winning Distributor of the Year by Mobile News, ranking 35th in Sunday Times best companies to work for and welcoming a new Chief Executive and operational board members. But that hasn’t distracted from the ethos of the company which is to pay forward the goodwill in the communities it serves whilst it delivers award-winning recycling and distribution services.
Genuine Solutions Marketing Director, Trish Macrae said: “I’m delighted we have been able to help these very deserving causes and it is the true meaning of Christmas. It’s particularly humbling seeing the gratitude from the people spending a warmer and drier night sleeping on the streets after receiving our emergency supplies. Genuine Solutions has rallied to a cry from help from the courageous and dedicated community workers and it makes me proud to be part of Genuine.”
The Genuine Solutions Christmas appeal is supporting the Amy Woodgate NHS care home, Refuge – for women and children against domestic abuse, Momentum – terminally ill children’s charity and One Norbiton and CREst community initiatives fighting against homelessness.
