The shortlist for the Kingston Business Excellence Awards has been released and Genuine Solutions have been listed in each of the categories for Commitment to the Community; Best Business for Customer Service as well as Best Business for Staff Training and Development.

To be recognised in the Commitment to the Community Award the Company needed to demonstrate outstanding achievement over and beyond the standard ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’ commitments.

Christian McBride CEO of Genuine Solutions Group commented: “We’re delighted to have demonstrated how we rolled out projects that delivered significant advantages through the inclusion of tangible benefits for the local community and really engaged closely with our environment.”

The Best Business for Customer Service Award short listing was achieved as a consequence of the Company’s overall business culture. Genuine Solutions takes care to ensure that we deliver efficient and effective customer service. Fostering collaborative customer relationships and continually improving internal processes to deliver service excellence is how the business differentiates and stands out against competitors.

Andy Tow, Managing Director of Genuine Solutions added: “To monitor and evaluate our own performance we are continually driving customer satisfaction improvement by logging, tracking and measuring our customer’s requirements, queries, issues and feedback. By doing this we are able to make informed decisions around both service levels and the overall operations strategy development.”

This year we have achieved the prestigious 1 Star “Best Companies to Work For” Award, ranking us in the top 400 Companies in the UK to work for.

The third shortlisted Award is for the Best Business for Staff Training and Development. The Company really takes pride in supporting team members within their role. The company ethos and team structure have been designed in a way to enable an environment where networks are in place to mentor and coach as well as encourage individual progression through the Company with structured, achievable training and development plans.

Tow further commented: “Training is key to the Company’s ongoing success and excellent staff retention. This has been proven by winning and maintaining the Investors in People Award. And this year we have achieved the prestigious 1 Star “Best Companies to Work For” Award also, ranking us in the top 400 Companies in the UK to work for.

The Company has also evolved traditional training opportunities into bespoke training days whereby product knowledge is updated in a unified manner and individuals are empowered to share best practices with their colleagues.”
