Genuine Solutions commended at Mobile News Awards |
This years mobile news awards saw Genuine Solutions enter two categories. Securing a spot as a finalist in the hugely fought after accessory distributor category involved mixing it with long established names and coming out with a solid mention and great support from the judging panel was an excellent achievement, but perhaps the best was still to come.
The second award category to feature was Environmental Enterprise of the year 2009, where Genuine Solutions UK faced some stiff competition in a strong industry field of established names, however after only one year of operations, the GSUK operation beat the likes of Vodafone to come in second behind Regernesis PLC.
One of the judges said this, of what was a closely contended award between the two top placed companies.
"Some very good candidates and it's good to see that the industry is taking environmental issues seriously. Genuine Solutions is very impressive for such a young company and is one to watch for the future."
Christian McBride, Project Director was thrilled with the commendation and comments.
"After a year of operations we are amazed at this kind of response to what we do. It can only help us to focus on the future." |

Genuine Solutions working with the Rainbow Trust |
Genuine Solutions have decided to work more proactively with their chosen charities in 2009, and have begun to tie in the Rainbow Trust into their promotional activity. Promotions for desirable products will now be issued with Rainbow Trust logos, telling customers that by ordering these items, 10% of the sales price will be donated to the charity.
"We are raising money by doing nothing more than our normal business activities," says Sales Manager Lee Edwards. "The offers are for products that our customers are buying - popular lines that don't need any pushing. That way we can optimise our donations without pressuring customers into buying alternative products they might not have wanted otherwise."
The Rainbow Trust works with families of terminally ill children, enhancing the lives of the sick and caring and supporting the families left behind, including not just parents but siblings as well. They offer services ranging from counseling to housing in their respite homes. For more information, you can visit their website, www.rainbowtrust.org.uk. |
